Praise Saves The Day

Praising God is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons we have as believers. As children of God, we should give him praise in every circumstance we find ourselves in. I acknowledge that most times this is easier said than done but, it still does not change this spiritual truth. Praise must transcend the barriers of religion by becoming an essential part of our lifestyle. I believe that when we begin to render unconditional praise to God, we will witness drastic changes in every area of our life. Change for the most part is never accidental. If you want to see a real change take place in your life, you must first make up your mind to do something different--change occurs first internally.

I urge you today to do something different. Give God permission to change you from the inside out. Start by placing your faith in God. I encourage you to begin right now by offering praise for both the good and the bad in your life. Keep in mind that God is more than able to quiet every storm that seeks to destroy your joy and steal your peace. When we as believers render unconditional praise to God, we usher in the presence of the Almighty. During this season of turmoil, it will be the praise we offer up to God that saves the day. Mark my words, God is going to use praise in the life of each believer to restore, heal, and deliver. Until next time, remember the race is not given to the swift or the fast but, to the man or woman who endures.

Personal Prayer: Heavenly Father, teach me to praise you consistently. Allow me to trust more in you than what I see happening around me. I know that my ability to trust you affects my outcome. Give me the grace to turn my back on confusion, tiredness, complacency, fear, and dread. Restore my joy and hope for the future. Quiet every storm in my life as, I praise you unconditionally. I lift my voice like a trumpet today. I declare that I will see the salvation of the Lord in the land of the living. I will place my hope in you Father, because you are an everlasting God, who cares deeply for me. I believe that you will work out all things for my good. When I feel overshadowed by fatigue, I will continue to praise you. Lord, I know that you did not bring me this far just to turn your back on me. I also know that the plans you have for me are bigger than what I can currently see in front of me. I trust you Lord, so today I am letting go of all my inhibitions. In Jesus' mighty name I pray, Amen!

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who he has given us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:1-8 NIV)

I agree Donzie-Bright - Praise and worship is so powerful and I don't think enough people realize it. It is the breeding ground for miracles and breakthrough.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for referring me here today. Definitely what I needed. I'm going to print out the prayer and read it every morning for 30 days and watch God work in my life. I love that song, too. "I will praise you in this storm."

I am so glad that so many people are really being blessed by this post. Praise Saves the Day, was birthed out of my personal prayer time with God. The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and challenged me to offer God praise for everything;both the good, bad, and the ugly in my life. I'm also praising God in advance for all of the wonderful blessings he promised to bestow on me. I hope each of you will do the same! xoxo
